Maylands Yacht Club - SnP created house rules on ROM day

10 house rules on SnP R.O.M day at Maylands Yacht club

1) Please come on time - 11am ! Smart casual attire: no thongs, shorts or t-shirts please. Dress for summer =D

2) Car parking - areas highlighted in yellow on map. Please be mindful that it is a residential area so don't block some else's driveway

3) Smoking: This venue is smoke free, even outside the premises. Should you like to smoke, please do so discreetly, at certain areas located on the map below.

4)Rubbish and alcohol: please do not bring alcohol or food items outdoors (if you do, please be discreet and dispose any garbage in allocated bins).

Or else, it will be hard for us to clean up and our venue bond will be deducted =)

5) Noise control : This is a residential area so if you had to yell and sing please entertain us indoors

6) Babies/bubs/mini-you/ : Apologies as the venue does not have ample baby chairs - please bring your little darlings in a stroller and wheel em' via wheelchair lift /carry em' up 10 flights of steps. We love kids and want them to be comfy !

7) Instagram photos with hashtag #seongnpris so we can see them or else please MMS it to us on our mobiles/facebook so we can compile them

8) Help us keep it a fuss free event ! Approach it like a visit to the Ikea food court - you pour your drink and pile your plate and then dump them in the bin when you are done. Thank you in advance!

9) Please make sure you have had your photo taken with us at least once.

10)thank you in advance for witnessing our special day and on such short notice too! The MYC venue is not much to look at but it's a part of our lives in Perth. We spend a lot of time here : New years for tiny fireworks, a normal evening jog/cycle, "cool off time" when we have our squabbles, dolphin watching and many more. Thank you for adding to the list of fond memories we have, tied to this place.

SnP top 10 facts : getting around Perth.

We love Perth! Its all about outdoors, parks, clean air, rivers/beaches/water, going to the hardware store and grocery store (nothing else is open after work), suburban sprawl and expensive coffee. We also have great company - in Perth and we now call this our home.

SnP top 10 facts : getting around Perth.

1) GETTING AROUNDWe are a car city. Our city and suburbs are sprawled along the beach, the river and and everything scenic. Public transportation is better than Malaysia but horrible compared to Sydney and Japan. We used to have tram lines but they were removed in the 60-70's (to add more carparking and roadways for our beloved cars)

Car rental starts at about $35 ++ for a basic car per day. Petrol on small car with a full tank (approx AUD50) lasts about 1.5 weeks if you travelled about 30 km a day.
Do rent a better upgraded car with unlimited kms if you plan to drive to regional areas.

If you like trains and busses, plan your journey via this website Transperth and below is an image of Perth train routes.

2) PARKING :how to avoid getting a bloody fine when parking on the street.
We have chosen an example (not all parking signs looks this shitty but here is the worst case scenario)

3) our interpretation map of Perth
Note: Maylands - suburb where we live and Maylands Yacht club which is ROM venue on Saturday 5th December at 11am. If you are severely allergic to shellfish/nuts (airborne, upon contact type) let us know. We have one epi-pen up available in the venue.
We have catered pork free, beef free and vegetarian/vegan food options.

4) Perth food is not bad. Just expensive. Foodie List, Perth
